Panels & Seminars
Bring Your Pit Crew!
There are more reasons than ever for you as a club owner to not only attend the 2014 Gentlemen’s Club Expo but to also bring key personnel from your club to this year’s August 17-20 show at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. For the first time ever, the EXPO will feature individualized Staff Training Seminars for your club personnel. There will be a total of 12 Staff Training Seminars targeting specific personnel, from GMs to security to bartenders. Club owners are also invited to attend these seminars, as well as our first-ever Legal Brunch where you can meet in person with top industry attorneys, and the Independent Contractor-Employee Panel where you will be advised of six-must-do steps to take no matter which method you use to classify your dancers. And hospitality industry consultant and author Tim Kirkland takes to the Keynote Address podium to give you tips on how to turn your club staff into a winning pit crew.

into a winning pit crew.
As producers of industry conventions for more than 25 years, we know that the formula for a successful event means offering attendees a show that is informative, enlightening, educational—and fun! That's why we produce our shows in Las Vegas. That's why we hold our panel sessions and seminars in the morning and early afternoon, and then do the Tradeshow late afternoon and early evening with plenty of music and cocktails. Our Tradeshows are parties unto themselves, and we have found that a relaxed setting appeals to the vendors manning the booths and the buyers walking the aisles.

ATTENDEE FEEDBACK ON EXPO 2013
“One of the things that stuck with us from the EXPO this year was Eric Langan’s acceptance speech for Rick’s Cabaret upon winning the Club Chain of the Year at the awards show. He spoke about the realization of his own recognition as an industry leader when he noticed people staring and pointing in his direction at this year’s EXPO. And he mentioned that he himself had done the same thing years back when he was working his way up the industry ladder; looking up to and admiring the leaders of that era. He reminded us all where he has been and encouraged us to work our own way up that ladder. Very motivating.”
"I want to start off by saying that we almost didn’t come to EXPO this year. To say it has been a year of trials and tribulations would be an understatement. That being said, we are so glad we made the trip. It was so wonderful seeing old friends, getting to know acquaintances better and making knew friends. Both ED Publications and DJ Platypus and all the plat crew did an AMAZING job. Best awards show ever. And to all of the nominees, congrats. Both Wild J and I wish everyone a very prosperous upcoming year.”
—Michelle Snyder Mowery, Wild J’s Gentleman’s Club
“Once again thank you for your hard work to bring together another wonderful and productive show for us, and I am certain for all of the other vendors as well. Our second EXPO was very productive and the people and the ED staff were very welcoming. We look forward to continuing and growing our relationship with your organization and the adult nightclub industry. Again, thank you for all you do.”
—Alan Brickman, Joe Hand Promotions
—Miriam Ramos, Platinum Processing
"I thought this was a good EXPO. I had a lot of my people at this one. I heard over and over from the veterans that this was one of the best if not the best EXPO and Tradeshow they had ever attended. Thank you for including Hal (Lowrie) in the Hall of Fame, it truly meant a lot to Troy and to me.”
— Micheal Ocello, VCG Holding Corp.
"ClubCam Systems had a highly successful 2013 EXPO. This was our fourth year as an exhibitor and definitely our best. We were very pleased at the caliber level of both individual and club chain owners who spent a great deal of time in our booth. The ambient sound from the main stage was much better controlled, allowing us to participate in some great presentations of our products with the attendees. Our phone and emails are still receiving follow up interest contacts from the club owners and DJs we met at the show.
“Also wanted to take my hat off to you for the caliber of the awards show at the House of Blues, it was definitely our favorite from the last four.”
— Don Kleinhans, ClubCam Systems
"We would like to thank everyone at ED Publications for our greatest EXPO yet. We are still humbled and in shock from the Awards Show.We have been reading Club Bulletin for the better part of a decade. It has educated us on the different styles of clubs, legal issues, issues other clubs are dealing with, music and who the owners are and how they came to be. It has also educated us on products that we use.
For those vendors that don’t believe in the EXPO, this is for them. Without it we would not have developed relationships with Pure Risk Solutions, Platinum Poles, KG Furniture, Modern Line Furniture, Winston Hines, Voss Water, Joe Hand Productions, Omega Pattern Carpets, Eric Bernstein and Associates, Gent Club Shirts, EnteLeis, David Chesal, XGenRen and Royal Sovereign. The EXPO works.”
—Jerry Kim, Charles Bass, Darren Bass, Jordan Bass and all the staff at Babe’s NOLA
“I just wanted to drop a note and say BRAVO once again for a job well done! Looking forward to 2014...”
ATTENDEE FEEDBACK ON EXPO 2012
"On behalf of Michael, Laird, Dawn and the rest of the Solid Gold Ft. Lauderdale Family, I want to thank you for honoring us with the 2012 Club of the Year/Southeast Award and for awarding our DJ, Johnny Walker, with National Employee of the Year. It meant a tremendous amount to us as an organization, not only for the award but for the validation of our effort."
—Andrea Amenta, Solid Gold, Fort Lauderdale
"The EXPO was amazing. My favorite parts were the Monday Night Pool Party Ice Sculpture (wow!), the Erotic Heritage Museum, the amazing panels of course and the very first day that the EXPO Tradeshow was open on Tuesday. We were slammed. We gave out hundreds of www.How-to-Strip.com materials to hungry club owners and managers."
—Jennifer McCumber, www.How-to-Strip.com
"As a trade show veteran I have exhibited at trade shows for over 20 years. Working with Lacy, Kris, Ryan and Dave at ED Publications at this year's EXPO was nothing less than a homerun. Dave wrote a powerful pre-show article that just warmed things up. By the time the show opened we were amazed at how much our prospects had already researched us and were in ready-to-buy mode. We walked away from the show with two of the largest accounts possible. That just never happens at one trade show. Hats off to everyone at ED Publications for the best show experience in my business career."
—Ken Ranucci, Creative Nightclubs
"Congratulation on your 20th event! We've been onboard for the EXPOs since 2004 and we've enjoyed working with you on each and every event. We're already looking forward to next year and the beginning of another 20 years!"
—Rich Hansen, Glamor Girl
"The EXPO was an excellent forum for both vendors and industry executives to come together to understand the challenges and solutions available. The organization was exceptional, the tradeshow well balanced and the parties and entertainment made perfect networking events. I fully embraced the EXPO and had a fantastic time. I look forward to meeting up with you all again next year."
—Simon Theobald, Coverjock
"We had a great time at the EXPO. The speakers were fantastic! We brought home a lot of good information that we intend to put to good use! The Awards Show was spectacular! The entertainment was out of this world and Pablo Francisco was hilarious! Keep doing what you are doing! Our industry needs you and appreciates you and your staff for the wonderful work you do. Looking forward to next year already!"
—Laurie Bowers, Deja Vu Consulting
"I wanted to thank all of you for the EXPO this year. The Tradeshow Mainstage was great. We would be happy to sponsor that again and maybe even increase our presence for the main stage. Of all the shows we do each year, this is one of the smoothest running events we attend. 'Ya'll' have a great staff and crew."
— Chet Graham, Omega Pattern Works
"I'd say the best EXPO so far. I really want to congratulate you and all of the ED team on a job well done. We are looking forward to next year already, and actually have been shooting around the idea of doing a bigger booth, possibly in conjunction with a sponsorship. Please keep me posted as things move forward. We're looking forward to next year!"
—Lauren Venable, Electro-LuminX Lighting Corporation
"Just wanted to send a quick note to say fabulous EXPO this year! It was great seeing all the old faces (of course, I don't mean literally 'old' lol). Everything looked smooth and I can't remember having a better time. BTW, that comedian was really good at the Awards Show."
—Ken DeGori, Gold Club, Penthouse Club, Larry Flynt's Hustler Club, Historic Condor Club, and Hungry I, San Francisco
